10 - Travel Tips

Life Fest will not be providing transportation to and from the National March for Life. However, we can offer suggestions:

  • The National March for Life offers travel suggestions and a map of the route at https://marchforlife.org. The March will begin on Madison Dr. between 7th St. NW and 12th St. NW. The March for Life Rally begins at noon, and the March itself begins around 1:00 PM.

  • Rideshares/Taxi: Taxi or ride-sharing services such as Uber or Lyft can take you close to the start of the March for Life. We suggest that you plan drop-off near the Washington Monument. Expected travel time: 15-20 minutes.

  • Public Transit/Metro: Public transportation is available using metro buses and the DC/VA/MD metrorail. Across from the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center is the P90 metro bus stop at St George BI & Waterfront St. Take this bus to the Eisenhower Avenue metro station. Board a Yellow Line metro train towards Mt Vernon Sq & Greenbelt. Get off at the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter metro stop, which is an approximately 8-minute walk to the start of the March. Exit the metro stop via Archives – 7th St. North of Pennsylvania Ave. To use the metro bus and metrorail system, you will need to pay using a debit or credit card, or by purchasing a SmarTrip® Card.
